To those who are interested in the information about our region and the problems of regional studies the department offers one of the most complete funds of Karpatyka - books, albums, exhibition catalogs, notes collections, etc. - about 24000 documents, reference-bibliographic apparatus, etc.
While searching the necessary information you may use:

systematic regional directory;

chronological catalog of local publications;

electronic catalog of books and articles from periodicals and collections;

reference books fund;

book-illustration and virtual exhibitions in honor of significant events and famous people in the region’s history.
You’ll be able to find lots of materials on regional studies in the magazines “Duklia” (represented in the fund since 1961), “Carpathian Region”, “Cultural Sources”, “Exile”, etc.
The library is the depositary of the regional studies of the area and receives a mandatory copy of the documents that are printed in the region and publishes them in the yearly publication “Book of Transcarpathia: Annotated Catalog of publications…”, press publications are printed in the quarterly publication “Transcarpathia in the press”.
The annual publication “Calendar of local lore memorable dates in …” (is being published since 1964) includes not only bibliographic materials, but also the articles of famous scientists and cultural figures of the region.
